Default 99 TA vs. 05 mustake GT

on interstate yesturday and seen a mustang GT in my review mirror coming up on me so i let him pass cause there was a truck in front of me and then i followed him for a while then pulled up next to him and kidna let him know i wanted to run them. we both took of from 80 and i pulled ahead easy so i thought id give it another try cause i thought they were faster than that. i let him catch back up, he pulls up beside me and shrugs his shoulders and i motioned for him to take off and i seen him shift down and then the front rose up so i took off to and got him easy again. what i think happened was he probably had a 5psd and only downshifted into 4th instead of lower. but i took the next exit and we both waved at each other. so he was a good sport and that made me feel good. Good sports are awesome!

I have 4.10's and a 1.34 3rd gear. At 50-65 I would choose 3rd.

My second gear goes to about 68 mph with the 3.73's so I pretty much drop it to second for anything under 65mph

What does that put you at about 5 grand, In about 2 seconds you would shift into 3rd I just save the shift and go to third, but thats just me i guess

I always like to have around 1500rpm to wind out in any gear I pick from a roll, if it puts me at 4500-5K im right where I need to be.
