there is a bug like this out in phoenix az area. he took alot of my buddies money on a "street race for money" deal. no one could understand why i was all worked up. i was like, dude!!! this guy wants to race you for money, in his bug!! there is something going on here!lol, anyway, he roasted my buddies 70 chevelle ss with a 396 and 4 speed and 4.11s. he toted the front tires pretty good at launch and had him by a good 3 cars at the "1/4" mile match up. very very cool.

I just enjoyed watching all the other cars in the video...got a little bored seeing the bug run the same times over and over. It's is pretty amazing that a POS like that can be so quick. I saw a bug at the local track here last summer w/ wheelie bars and that thing hauled major ***!

Bugs weigh about 16-1800# and take virtually no hp to move. The Volkswagon engine also is a torque MONSTER! (im not shitting you, they produce more tq in proportion to their hp than your LS1 does, proportionate to hp). They are also cheap as hell to modify and rear engine, rwd, i think the rest speaks for itself. Not suprised at all
