wow, they are retarded...A few smart people ont here but like honestly so many of those guys on there confirm the stereotypes of ignorant import drivers. Like honestly you gotta love the "try reving the ws6 to 9K rpms" and "oh yea well tell the ws6 to battle you in the twisties, it will make it look like a 25 cent blah blah blah in front of walmart"...I mean honestly the s2k is a sweet car and fun to drive (sister boyfriend has one) but like a few intelligent guys said on there its not a drag car nor does it have anywhere near the power of an ls1 powered car in stock or lightly modified form so why even compare the two? Plus I bet a stock ws6 or ss would take a stock s2k on an auto-x course too, I just dont get why people think they handle so poorly?

Wow I just looked through that forum and those guys seem like a bunch of 16 year old ricers. "Try revving to 9K in a WS6"?? Are these people goddamn stupid?? The LS1 makes more torque at idle than the S2000 makes in its whole freakin powerband, not to mention it takes less than half of the LS1's rev range to make about the same power.
I also love it when people say "they could take you in the twisties" or "on an auto-x course", who the hell catches someone at a light and challenges them to an auto-x race?? Nobody, thats who, because its just plain ridiculous.

My friend has an RSX with a JDM motor 195 whp/145 wtq dynoed. He ran 14.9 w/o a "header" and now thinks he can run 14.3 with one, also, with his "chip" he plans on running mid 13's lmao he really thinks a header and a chip will knock off a second and a half (he is NA to boot!!!)

Yea they are fucktards...I mean honestly most LSx owners on this board know what most imports (350z's, m3's, evo's, sti's, supras, hondas, etc) can run as well as what a modded import can run but it seems that its the exact opposite with most of the import owners on those boards. They have no clue what their car will run in the 1/4 mile and they think adding a fart cannon, drop in K&N, and a "chip" will add insane amounts of horsepower...like honestly they need to stop buying import mags and whacking off to all the girls and grab a few non-import car mags and look what other cars can do before they run their mouths.

Exactly, and they actually had a thing on like speed tv where they added a real catback, not a fart can, on an rsx type-s and it lost a few HP due to it being too free flowing and reducing backpressure too much. They work well on turboed and FI cars but NA they dont need that free flowing an exhaust.

I hear about how fast honda's are all the time. AEM "cold air" intake, cat-back and a header and they become a 1/4 mile terror. I live in olympia wa. and this town is overflowing with them. What I'm sure dosn't help is I will only rarely run these guy's, so when they throw a rev at me and I don't respond I'm sure they think I'm intimidated.
By the way, I found out from my stepson, who love's import's, that these guy's pace out a 1/4 mile run with their odometer's and time themselve's with a stop watch.
No, I'm not kidding.

Granted your car would be faster in a straight line(not by that much 13.4@106 vs 13.9@100) hey but what do you expect when you have 80 more hp.
People keep screaming aabout torque, but let me ask you. Would you rather keep your stock torque or be 800lb's lighter?

My friends cars weighs 2714 without him in it. So we're back at 800lbs. You need to take into consideration the amount of weight that is being transferred through out the course of the track. An S2000 was made to be a track car. Take its weight, 9000rpm redline and small compact size and I don't see how you can actually think a stock ls1 car would win. You would need to stop atleast 100ft shorter to take the same turn as would an s2000, so in turn, making his exits faster.
