ive quickly learned that5 most cars on the street. cannot compete with the ls1. this car defintely is the best bang for the buck. anyhow why do these stock stangs or midl modded stangs think their a challenge for me. even if i am a convertible. i obliterated a stang from 0-80ish i had about 5-6 cars on him. we go to another light and he was behind me so i went slowly and he jumped over to the right lane and then i went wot and again just pulled away. now i know their are some fast stangs around but i mean i could understand them thinking they could beat my GP GXP.. though i would walk them in that also. but man i was even scared to run vs an ls1 in it heeh. and these people arent doing it just for fun. because they wont look at me afterwards hehe.

Yea, for the money NOTHING can touch an LS1. I bet you are happy as sh$t with that car. Even better than the 5.0's of the 80-90's in my opinion. Good Kills.

THEY ARE NOT BETTER THAN THE 5.0's lmao, nahhh, the LS1 is a great motor and the car is a solid platform (except for the rear end). Definitely best bang for the buck, you can find a clean LS1 for 6500-9K andh ave a MEAN car, definitely bang for the buck.

i burnt one pretty bad last night also. he had to be stock or midly modded. it was clean looking. had an aftermarket exhaust sounded good he was racing another car. and when they came up beside me and flew by i was ready and quickly caguth them. but yea i love the ls1. havent even started modding yet ehhe

the only stang thats ever beaten me in my ls1 was my friends kb cobra. Other than that i have beated the all other stanges including one 03 cobra vert. i am sure that there is one lurking around dark street cornors waiting to hand me my ***, so untile them i will have to be patient.
i have a friend who has a 03 GT with exhaust and intake and he pulled our other friend in his 98 stock a4 ta i the 1/4 mile.

nice set up and i beat kb cobras all the time but with your mods? How do you? WOW props for you man you much have one BAD-AZZ LS1! Can we see some pics?

i havn't beat a kb cobra yet, i has beaten a 03 vert cobra with pully and cat-back. it sux being so high up, the best time i have seen a stock 03-04 cobra is a 13.4, my friends kb cobra is at a 12.4 but he has some issues getting power to the ground.
