Default Got my azz handed to me

Two days ago I was out in the nearby small town getting gas, minding my own business. On my way home, I see this red 6.0L GTO slowly creep past me in the 45 mph zone. I thought, if he goes towards the hwy. I will go past my turn off and see if he wants to run it. Well, He did go for the hwy, so I followed. I get up next to the guy(45-50 yr.old) and his car was fairly quiet so I figured if he did wanna run, it would be an easy kill. Well, I was very WRONG. I revved at him(50-55mph) He looked over, smiled, pointed forward and I held up 3 fingers and honked once. He was an educated old guy and nodded in agreement. I honked 3 times and on the 3rd we were off, or should I say he was anyway. I blower was the most stealthy one I've ever heard. I couldn't hear it under normal driving, but when he cut that ****** loose, she went to whinning big time. I took it up to 120mph, and by that time he had a good 10-12 car lenths on me. I let out, and he just kept on truckin. I wanted to talk w/ him to see his set up and see if he had any power numbers, but he never slowed back down. That was by far the worst I've ever lost. He had to be making some killer numbers to walk me that hard. I have absolutly killed some GTO's 2004's and 2005's w/ and without mods. It looked nice too, red w/ some black rims whick looked to be fiskes wheels, sounded great too once he took off. Sorry so long, had to share a death by a good competitor.

From board experience, I'm just waiting for someone to say "10-12 lengths at X mph, He must have had like 1,000,000 rwhp. This stories BS" Just what I'm thinking not my own personal view. Good Death.

naw, I consider myself a decent judge of car lenths, When I let out he was waaayyyy ahead of me. 10-12 is a good estimation of my loss. I got smoked like a doobie in a cheech and chong movie.

He wasn't a "competitor" he was a DOMINATOR wow, awsome death, there is always someone out there faster...To do that he had to have AT LEAST 500 rwhp to leave a 400# lighter car like it wasnt moving.

nah im goin to have to go with more then that.. back in the day when my car was running very good, it put down 400 at the wheels.. raced a old boy in a 04 GTO with a good sized cam(said it put down 385 na 502 on the juice) NA run i got him pretty good, he juiced on me and put me down by about 3 cars 50-120, so would estimate that was a 700 plus horsepower car if he beat you by 10-12 caar lengths

I hang around the GTO forum a lot and there's some pretty nasty 04 - 05 GTO's on there. I went to a GTO meet here at the local racetrack and it wasn't uncommon to see 11 second GTO's. I'm sure this years meet will have even better times.

Good death by the way.
