Yeah, guys... there isn't a better thread for this... we are going to end up racing eachother in a bit anyways, to give the results... but it's fun to know what others think... if you don't like it, simply don't click it It's that easy... the title of this thread wasn't, state your opionion on whether you like this thread or not.... it was... which will win.... it's not like we tricked you into thinking this was a thread about beating two 911 turbos... you knew it was a thread about "bench racing" before hand... so if you don't like the thread... don't post or vote

Sorry, you had to endure the pain of reading a thread that you didn't want to.... If it seems that there are a lot of people who post these threads and then a lot of people that don't want to read them... it seems like a recipe for making a new place to post these threads? Read the damn sticky for this forum about benchracing. These stupid benchracing threads are a waste of space and bandwidth. This site gets slower and slower everytime someone posts a benchracer thread. Why not just go out and race and find out who would win and then come post the results. 9 times out of 10 when a thread like this is posted there is never a posted race result, so stop wasting space with these threads.

I dont see how people think the z28 will win? The vette is lighter and has a full cam/heads package whereas the z28 is going to be cam only. The vette has better headers as well plus it says the z28 has a custom stereo, which i cant see it lightening the car at all. From a dig it will be closer but from a roll i cant see the vette not slowly walking away from the z28 IMO.

its not a roll race... We are talking 1/4 mile. The difference is in the transmissions/launch, thats why Magik and I are questioning it.

Ok wasnt sure as it wasnt stated in the original post that it would strictly be a 1/4 race at a track. Either way i still might have to give the edge to the vette if he can launch properly. Either way should be a damn good race.
