2000 SS v. LTJuan T/A Well, I was on my way to Classic Shebby in Grapevine to pick up a STB. An LTJuan T/A rolls up next to my brother and I. Now I saw these guys at an intersection earlier, so I kinda saw it coming. Anyway, it was Gran Sport blue with black ZR1's, looked pretty good. I point at him to go, he does and I reel him in and put almost a car by 85 or so from a 55-60 punch. My brother is freaking out (he drives an LTJuan as well, 
). Well this guy wanted to run again when the traffic cleared, guess he couldn't take a hint. Well, I know where the po-po lurks so I declined (wondering why he would want to get pulled again blows my mind, 
). The passenger puts his arms up like, "Why not foo'!?" and they drive off. Was a fun race. I believe he had gears and his exhaust was loud as hell. Maybe he had a cam too? Not sure how bolt on LTJuans fare against stock LS1's, but he gave it a good run. He definately shifted before i went into 4th. So gears for damn sure. Nonetheless, stock LSJuan holds it down.
