Default 97 Concorde Vs. V-6 Mustang Oh yeah, I know youre jealous!

It's cold up here in Upstate NY, and we see plenty of snow. Although this year has been pretty bland.

I store my Z28 from Nov to about May, depending on when we get the " showers " to clean the roads, and drive a 97 3.5L 24 Valve DOHC Chrysler Concorde LX in the winter. Yeah, she's a beast.

This motor puts out 214 Flywheel HP, and like 225Flywheel tq, so its got a little grunt to it. It will go 120 pretty easy... no ****. but thats about it because its a heavy girth

Im workin my way through town on a thursday night to pick up some beer and smokes ( im trying to quit ), and I have about 4-5 blocks to travel each way. Its a 45 MPH most of the way, and alot of 0-100 dragging is done here in the summer months...

These younger kids ( well, younger than me ) pull into HESS right next to me in a Mid 90's V6 mustang and the fat passenger kid gives me this wierd stare down, I think because I got 2 girls ( both pretty cute) with me. And im 200 lbs 6'2, so I could careless about these fruitcakes.

I laugh and say to the girls, " Phhh, who would want a Teal V-6 Mustang ?" One of the kids catches some of it and goes in and tells his friend ( the driver ) then comes out and asks me If i want to run him. So I thought to myself...

He waits for me to leave then follows me out to the next light and pulls up next to me, and starts revving the **** out of his 3.8 liter. ( I think it was 94 or 95, not sure, but I know there doggy as **** )

I sit there quietly and when it flickers, I just let it have it.
0-20 1 Length

Lmao, we had a guy with an auto vert v6 mid 90's come to the dealership i worked at one time and we got to talking when he told me what he ran at the local track. I think it was somehting like 17.6 It was REDICULOUS, lol. Good kill, those cars are real dogs, now new 05's however are STOUT! for a base car. 15.2 stock and 13.9 @ 99 with bolt-ons and gears. Impressive.

I think the mid 90's were like 150hp or something weren't they? My sisters boyfriend had one and he thought it was so bad! I laughed evertime he tried to race or act tough in it
