Default LT1 Z28 vs 05 Roush vs Z28

While I was cruising around on a saturday night a black car pulled up at a long light I didnt pay much attention but then I heard a rev I look over and its a black (05 06?) roush. Light turns green he takes off smoking tires and all but I just rev at him and cruise onto the highway hoping to hell he follows (after all racing for a block or 2 on the street isnt going to cut it) He follows at we cruise it at 45 for a bit teasing each other all of a sudden a white z28 comes out of nowhere and blows by on the side nearly swiping me well the guys in the roush grin at me and take off.
Both of them slowed till 30 then punched with the Z being left behind at 3 car lengths highway temporarily opens up for about a mile to 3 lanes I pull up in the middle we all slow down to 20 ( I refuse to race below that) 3 honks at we are off I felt my front end lift (god I love that...) open headers sounding great and left both of them behind roush staying just 5 lengths behind me or so slowed down at 120 to 20 just me and the roush and hit it again roush got the jump on me but I quickly left him behind same result.
Me and the guys in the roush parked and we talked he had Stage 2 roush all boltons ported heads, exhaust and some monster cam that sounded sweet. He had just got that car off e-bay 4 days ago at 43k (what??!) with some 20k miles on it.
I honestly thought he would have raped the crap out of me maybe he just didnt know how to drive it... I dont know the specs on the roushs at all maybe someone could enlighten me?

stage 2s are still mostly looks and suspension. they only have exhaust and tune for the engine. they do look and sound nice though.
