Was coming home from Advance auto(new plugs time soon) and was on the hwy which was empty exept for 2 cars a ways ahead of me, and I noticed that I was coming up on them rather fast and I was doing the speed limit. Turns out to be a red LT1 WS6 vs gray 03/04 cobra were slowing down to like 40-45ish to run. Well, the ol' LT1 gave it a great effort, but the cobra got it by 4-5 lenths from my view. I stepped on it, caught the 2 of them after they had slowed down from their run. I slid around the T/A and up next to the cobra, Looked over and he slowed down to like 40, I honked and we took off, dead even through 2nd,his blower was whining in my ear, I ****** 3rd and proceed to put 2 cars on him in 3rd, ****** 4th gear and put 1 more car on by the middle of 4th and then shut down. Cobra guy turns off, T/A guy comes up next to me, yells "hey! , thanks for avenging me!!", I said "it's all good" he said" that guys thinks his **** don't stink w/ that car" I laughed and went about my way. The only thing I could tell that was done to the cobra was a exhaust, it was LOUD. Sorry so long, had to share.

Well considering the cobra just ran an LT1 and killed it I would guess he would be up for another run right afterward dont you think? And the blower wouldnt be whining so much if he wasnt in it. Dont get all upset because the higly coveted cobra got his *** kicked.

Yep. Not bragging or trying to badass but, I could lay it on a non cam full bolt on ls1 f-body like no tomarrow with k&n and exhaust. I would say the cobra is laying down about 385-400rwhp and 400rwtq with exhaust only. Cammed LS1's have a peaky power band, blown 4.6's have a low end, mid and high power band. Should be a pretty even race.

Ok...The LS1 has 380Rwhp and is a lighter car. He should be running low 12's. (maybe even an 11.9 with a good 60') The higher the speed, the more the LS1 would pull in this situation I think.

That seems about right. The LS1 as modded would trap 112-115 and a stock Cobra traps 111-114. Sounds about right, good kill........The next time you see him he will probably be ready for you.
