was heading home from my girlfriends house and i stopped to get gas, put about 30 bucks in which got me to about a full tank. i pulled out of the gas station and a decent looking 5.0 got behind me at the light, soon as traffic cleared he got up next to me and gave it a couple of revs. His exhaust sounded kind of muffled, maybe he was going for the sleeper effect?? car also sounded kinda rough, like sorta creaky when he was next to me dont know wtf that was about.

now i just paid 2.90 for premium, do i really wanna waste it? YES! so i took a quick look around to make sure there were no porkers and i gave him the hit from a 45. we went up to about 65 and i had about a car on him but had to stop because there was a light. i really wanted to go from a dig to test out the new nittos but there was too much traffic so we went from a 55 once traffic cleared.....it was stick so i gave him the hit again, by 90mph i had about 2 1/2 cars on him and i shut down. pretty cool guy, i gave him thumbs up and he nodded and i headed home.

From a dig the 5.0 would have done better imho. Also, sounds like he had some decent mods to me. Takes a LOT for a 5.0 to hang with an LS1...trust me

Sounds to me like he AT LEAST had full bolt-ons and a mad driver + gears maybe. Who knows, the possible combo's with a 5.0 are limitless.

i agree on full boltons and im figuring he had some 3.73's too, a set of shitty gears would explain the weird creaking. i was pulling pretty slowly up to about about 70 but thats when i really started pulling. he drove it pretty well also.

Definitely not a stock 5.0. Although my friends 89 LX with 3.73's shorties,offroad pipe, and pullies and CAI would hang almost dead even with my 95 A4 LT1 up t0 about 60.
