Kennebell Goes down!

Kennebell Goes down! Hey guys, I've been wanting to race a Kennebell Cobra for awhile and got my chance the other night.
I met him at Sonic where we race around here, Full bolt-on ,15psi, 8.8 rear,etc. 03 cobra. We went from a 20 roll, me with a rider on 100 shot and him bye his self and i put 4 cars on him and let out about 120 mph.
The second race he wanted the little Ls1 on motor I agreed but from a stop and with out my friend. I yanked him good out of the hole and he reeled me in at about 130mph. But it was fun and we are doing it again
with him on a different pulley and me on the 150hp 
pills. But fun and very happy to say the least!

Good kill! 
Tell him to spin that thing to 21psi and run racegas. Honestly, there's no point
having a KB if he's only going to run 15psi...might as well of kept the Eaton.

He should be running mid-120's at a minimum, but an LS1 on a hit with a 3-speed TH350 and a 4000 convertor is going to leave pretty hard...even from a low-speed roll. Imagine putting a C4 into a KB'd Cobra!
Anyway...nice kill, car must run pretty well!

You know I didnt mean you wasted money, but if 15lbs was the only goal, the new stegs are more than enough. Damn. Im getting a Whipple too, but thats to go to 19-21lbs, not keep only 17bs.

I miss my FI car dammit! Oh wait! I can always go 10-71 can't I? Nice kill on the KB car. I hope he practices with it after jumping the boost 'cause it's gonna be a whole 'nother animal.

I dunno', at 19-21lbs., I'd be more worried about breaking everything else behind the motor.
Guess it depends on how fast you want to go. I think this year, we'll see lots of boost-only KB/Whipple cars in the low-10's.

He's turning the boost up to 19psi so it's going to be fun. Sonic off BB downs. Cobras run good, haven't seen one that's not fast to be truthfull.
I have a good fuel pump and injectors so I'm not scare to up the shot .
I'm just happy right now with my cars performance. Maybe someday but for right now 150 pills will work for me. If he wins he's just got a faster car! So i'll just ride with him for now on I'll keep u guys posted.
