I dunno if you consider this a kill or not but alittle less then a year ago my cousin redone his 02 GT. Everything was put into this car new 5.0 mod motor stage 2 heads, custom cams, p-51 intake, full 3" exhaust, 3.73's, fuel system, 6spd tranny everything was redone. Well since i work with him last night when i go into work i asked him if he was gonna be out tomorrow night cause it's suppose to be awesome weather.

He says "I doubt it i'm not gonna get much sleep today why?" ok whatever it's going to be a beautiful day and night and you have the next 3 days off sleep is a crappy excuse to me. I said no reason figure we could cruise around i could show you how fast the TA is now since after all you did beat me last year. He promplty goes "I'm not racing my car" wth you rag the living **** outta that thing every second it see's pavement. I said don't you alteast wanna hear what the TA sounds like, "i heard it last weekend when you pulled outta your driveway" so i said whatever and went to work. I think i deserve some kinda redemption but i guess not i'd even race him N/A

LS6 intake, lid, xr265hr cam, LTs, orgy, magnaflow catback, lightly ported/cleaned up stock heads, 36lb injectors, 255 pump, underdrive pulley, 3500 stall, tuned by HP tuners but i haven't got it tuned on the dyno yet. My cousin dynoed 314rwhp i dunno why he wouldn't wanna race

Well last year after he just got his car done and tuned, we lined my mustang up with his. It was bad so i kinda already ruined his car for him within the first week of having it running good. That was before i had the blower even, i ran him N/A and with my spray. N/A it was a walk in the park, with the 100shot it was a slaughter.

89 Tang, what all is in that 'stang of yours? Wondering how I would do against these 4.6L's (I have never raced a 4.6L mustang )

Hey it was 5.0 vs. 5.0 basically, and it had damn near the exact same mods the race took place because the ppl. over on stanknet.com had my 5.0 as the underdog getting beat. So i taped it and proved them very very wrong lol.

Stanger88- When i raced him it had 306, Typhoon intake, custom powerpipe, 75mm bullet meter, 24lb injectors, 255 FP, AFPR, N41 cam, Edelbrock rpm heads, no a/c no smog, underdrive crank, 3.73's, electric fans, BBK lts, mac prochamber, produmps, bunch of suspension stuff, frame ties, and 100shot. I think that's it hell there so much **** i can't remember it all anymore lol.

Sounds like we are in teh same ball-park there minus the power adders, although im going to the holley 670 4 bbl for my fuel/air deilivery Also, i have a new 302 block not bored and you have better heads, mine flow 200cfm at .500 and 210 at .600. Plus I have an X303 cam (3500tq/6200hp peak numbers according to Ford).

The TA i have yet to have it to the track this year last year the best i could do was 13.6@102-103mph with a 2.15 60'

The mustang n/a last year the best i could get was 13.3@108mph with a 2.2 60' launching really soft about 2500rpm our track sucks for traction and i was on DR's still would spin like hell on a high launch. On the spray i hit 13.4@114mph missing 3rd gear

I also did a home port an polish on my heads, and gasket matched and cleaned up the runner's on my intake forgot about that. Dunno if we're in the same ball park never dynoed it. Buddy Rawls told me i should be making a solid 320-330rwhp when he spec'ed a cam for me, but there again can't go by what someone says so i don't claim to make that much.

According to the dyno charts of the company htat built my motor I should be making around 290whp + or - According to dynodesk2000 I should be making 355 at the crank. According to the company i am making 340/340 at the crank. The strip will tell. IT sounds about right as i was slowly walked from a roll by a 04 GTO that was trapping 109. I figure I should trap 104-106 ish no?

Sounds about right only one way to find out like you said track, or you could have it dynoed and tuned.

I am going to have it dynoed after my carb swap, then on to the track after I drive it for 500 miles to make sure the plugs are showing proper mixture.

I asked him and he didn't know and he never called VT to find out. I honestly think the guy that tuned his car messed up i think he should be making around what you are.

I've actually only been able to find two other guys with a 5.0 na setup. One is making 317(stage 1 heads) and the other 325 I believe. Its so much easier to go with a blower and make 600+rwhp.
