What kind of HS kid has an 06 M3???
I am only guessing here...but I am doubting he paid for it, let alone pays for his gas or insurance....jeez...what is this world comming to.

At my school some kid has an M3 there is a 500whp 03 cobra ( i posted video of it in race kills under "
how would i run down 11 sec cobra") and there are a handful of those brand new range rovers. we have some kids driving the continental gt to school and the occasional sl55amg or sl65amg rolls in. they are going to know whats up when i get my ws6 though...... nobody knows about these cars anymore. They are willing to dump 20g on a new srt4 but forget to remember that a 12k ws6 will ruin their lives... lol

people didn't know what was up at my school...not a single person had an LS1 except for one girl who got a vette, but then trashed it...no way i coulda had a LS1 in high school, so i just suffered with a big 4x4 chevy...heh

^^ lol yeah. unless u put about 20k into a civic or a 4 banger, you arent going that far. I mean, i will dump about 3 grand into my car and run 10's. lol gotta love it. ws6's are so easy to make fast, it reminds me of dsm cars. those 10 sec gsx eclipses' that have 4k into the motor ( if that!).

my school sucked. don't think anybody had a fast car that i can remember, everybody was "building" something 
. i had a mid 13 sec. fwd dsm, buddy had a faster fwd dsm (probably 12's) and another kid had a saab viggen. definetly nothing crazy. a whole bunch of vw's and hondas that were modded but not fast.
good kill on the m3.

I have seen it first hand.
That being said.....CA is a different place. I have a home there (San Fran.) and its amazing how many people, have so much money. I would see a ferrari at least once a day. Now, in Alaska, my other home, I have seen one...
So I guess it depends on where you live.

when I was in hs it was a big deal.
one kid had a 02 zo6, he was the fastest, but my friend had a 99 z28 w a bunch of bolt ons that was right behind him
my best friend drove a H/c/n2o 92 gt
another kid had a full bolt on lightning
and another kid had a low 13 sec wrx
it was happening my senior year

At my HS, me and my friend both have mildly modded LS1s, him a '00 SS and me a '99 T/A. I feel as I am a slightly better driver. I dont drive mine to school though, but everyone knows I have one. He is a cool guy so I'd let him take the credit as the fastest. The only other competition is a turbo'd Miata. I bet it could be fast, but it's a HUGE turbo that takes forever to spool. It runs so rich that the news reports smog hazards whenever he gets on it.

kinda scary to imagine these kids with no driving experience, no track experience going to 100mph.... seems like it could make the front page news when one of you ends up dead

haha i love how pretty much all my racing posts bring up how kids shouldnt have fast cars, shouldnt be racing, yada yada its really entertaining sometimes, but shitty others, i mean we have to start somewhere, me and my best friend both drive fast muscle cars, and we are at the track every night possible and im not saying we have the track and seat time that some of you guys do, but we hardly sreet race just cuz of the fact we get labeled unsafe out of control and so on and so forth its jsut bullshit i mean we both have had friends die driving out of control, and they took someone else with them and we both were deeply touched by that, and we are as safe as we can be when we do street race, but why should we not be able to and get smashed for it when the older people get to just fine?

lol...im a senior....i bought this car from my older brother pretty cheap and already had all the mods except the stall,LT's,tune, and exhaust...and my g/f bought the exhaust for me..and i traded my pool table for the stall and i bought the LT's used and the tune i got for my bday...were not a rich family at all...my older brother has a real good job and hes selling me his car for 11k...and its worth a shitload more...my parents gave me 5k on it and i got them to cosign a loan for the rest of it!!

i bought my car for 18,000. it came with everything except for the flowmaster, and the only reason my gf got me that is cuz i told her i didnt like how my car sounded, she didnt know i was saving for lt's and td's or she wouldnt ahve gotten it lol

i just turned 18...and ive been driving ls1's since i was 14...thats when my older brother bought his first 98 formula...and my first car was a 94 lt1 z28 with a few bolt-ons and 120,xxx miles...also handed down from my older brother...we are a chevy family...and i may be young but im well experienced for my age!!
