also depends on which has the power under the curve.. with a 400rwhp cammed z06 i ran dead even with a friends(mellowyellow) Transam.. that was heavier 378rwhp but had 4.10's. the 4.10's put him in powerband evening out my weight advantage.
3100 lbs car vs 3400 lbs car.. 300lbs roughly =3 cars but 15rwhp advantage to c5 = 1.5 cars.. so 3 cars - 1.5: z06 wins by 1.5 cars lol theres some bench racing for ya.

my brothers 99 hardtop is surprisingly close till top of 2nd into 3rd gear then i pull from there. if i get a great launch from a stop i get 1.5 cars instantly(60-70ft from start spot) and pull him for a total of 3 cars. this was with halltech stinger and b&b bullets only.

with the drivers skills all being equal, the zo6 should win. 1st 2nd and 3rd are shorter and should give better acceleration. When they hit 4th it will draw even and the 5th the zo6 will be off again. JMO..
