Versus LS2 GTO I heard this ******'s cam chopping at idle when he was sitting at a stoplight. Unless I'm horribly mistaken, it couldn't have been the LS2 cam. I also doubt the exhaust was stock, too. We both eventually turned onto the Beltway 8 feeder going towards 45. He was a little bit ahead of me when we both went WOT. My window was down, and his exhaust was so loud that it hurt my ears. Haha. Naturally, he put numerous car lengths on me. I just let off.

lol..no offense but i seriously hope you could tell a stock cam from an aftermarket cam...so if you heard it im sure it wasnt the stock ls2 cam!!!....good death...are you sure it was an ls2...did it have the hood scoops and new rear bumper???

If it were an LS1, I would've said an LS1 GTO.

Unless you got better gears and a nice stall, a cammed LS2 will easily win.
I've played around with an 04', but havent had the liberty of chasing an 06'
Until I get rid of these 2.73's and get a better stall, im not sure if I'd want some of a 6.0 just quite yet...
