Default Jaguar S-type Sunday.

Well, a guy up at the shop has a 2000ish Dodge Dakota R/T, the 5.9L ones...250hp...talks **** to everybody almost every day about it...and everyone wanted him to run me in it, but he wouldnt. Scared, I guess.
Soooo, he said he would get his dads 2005 Jaguar S-type and run me in it Sunday from a dig, no roll. It's the 4.2L one, not the supercharged...
Looked it up and they're around 290 hp and around 3800 lbs.

I'm going to try and get video also, and post it up on here. Hopefully I can get him enough to shut em up for awhile, and let everyone else see...

BTW, I put down 298 and 343 on my last dyno, but it was before the LT's and tune... 3000 stall converter cost me some...

You will rape him; hurry up and post the video before this thread gets locked for bench racing.

The S-Type is a nice luxuary barge but it ain't no race car. A stock LS1 would totally own a 4.2.

A S-Type R would be a different story up against a stock Fbody, as they haul *** pretty good but then again they ought too with near 400bhp.

Lack of a LSD hampers them.

Should be a nice kill

Yeah I ran and beat a supercharged one that has some mods before I was tuned and those thinga are pretty damn quick. The s-type though you should have no problem.

youll rape him in the RT too, I had a 2001 RT dakota, and while quick to 60, it was a dog above 60.

The S type is a 15.0 second car. HE would be better off to race inthe RT.

The R type is a low 13 ans will beat most stock LS1's

Good good... I will definitly try and get video, as it'll be happening for sure Sunday if no rain... the guy just talks so much trash about his vehicles every day it seems...

And I figured I'd have my hands full if it was the S/C one, but it's not, so I dont think it'll be much of a problem... If I can get a decent launch, then I'll be fine I reckon..
