Up until today i have never really raced a Corvette of any type. Well on the way to school i driving along minding my own business, when this C4 pulls up next to me at a light, we are both second in line behind two other cars. Well this thing was ragged as hell, messed up black paint w/ 20" black rims, and one headlight cover MIA. This guy starts revving the hell outta me, his car sounds horrible, if i didn't know any better i'd swear it was a v6. (geez flowmaster) . Light turns green his lead car is going a bit faster so he gets around to the front, i follow his lead. Next light i end up behind him at a red, this joker is still revving me and looks to be trying to stall it up. Light turns green he launches, Crappily might i add, I just mash the go pedal and move in behind him revoke his lead and make the pass easily. I stop next to him at the next light, him in the left turn lane. rolls down window, "Oh you try having 20's" me:"You had the lead buddy." Him: "well i wasnt even trying then". What a joker i think and tell him nice try anyways.

Later on in the night around 2300hrs. i was on my way to work, when i see this vert. C6 pass me. I speed up a tad to take a look see and this guy keeps gassing it as not to let me catch up. So i figure maybe he's trying to clear traffic. I follow to the front, maybe three cars, and slow, well he just keeps on going hitting at least 120mph. I figure fuckit let him go. I exit and guess who's at the light all alone. I pull up and ask if he wants go for real, he agrees and we pull off on to an empty road. We go from a stop his chick calls "Go" we are off, i took maybe half a car off the line. Stayed even all the way til the top of second then third kicked and i pulled back about 3/4 to 1 car on him. We slow and i hear his chick "Holy ******' ****!" They compliment me, i return the favor and we part ways. I was actaully amazed, i thought i was gonna loose.

Well i think thats a day well spent. From 0-0 against vettes to 2- 0, in one day. HooooRaaaayyyy for me.

Not really. Maybe 340hp if i'm lucky. Free mods, lid w/ K&N, P&P Maf, Shortie headers, Magnaflow cat back, Diablo tune, SFC, LCA, PHB, Tunnel brace, STB, DR's, 3.42's.

I don't know if my cars just a freak, but i've run w/ another car running 406hp to the rears Kens_02SS. We ran almost dead even till the very end, yeah he pulled me up top for the win, but i gave him a damn good run and made him earn it.
How "light" can a vert. C6 be? It was completely stock of course. And what kinda # do they put down @ the wheels?

Convertible C6's are a couple pounds heavier (I think 200 or so) You must have a strong *** motor. Good run.

I think the C6's put down 330-340 to the rear wheels. I'm sure someone will correct me if i'm wrong.
