my brother is in town from texas and he wanted to go crusing in the z...last time he rode in it was with lid/exhaust only...we stopped at the gas station to get a drink and a guy in his early 30's probably was gettin gas in his 03/04 cobra...im inside gettin our drinks and i walk out and my brother is talking to him...and im thinking ohh ****...you have to know my brother...he is like the king race instigator...so i walk up in the middle of the convo and the guy asks me my mods and i dont know what my brother has told him but i know my brother hes sneaky and usually will list everything but your biggest mods...so i assumed he said everything but the juice....so i told him all my mods and left out the laughing gas...i was right...exactly what my brother did...and i asked his mods and they are as follows ported blower/pulley upgrade/SLP Loudmouth exhaust/headers/DR's...those are the major things...well he asked what kind of tires i were running and i told him street tires...he was like well ill only run from a dig...im thinknig ****...im ****** toast...but hey i hate roll races anyways...so my brother says he will flag us to take some weight out of mine!!!

We follow this guy to an indistrial area thats kinda well known for kicking them off....my brother jumps out and lines us up...drops his hands and we take off...he jumps out about a car on me....at about 30 hes pulled about a car and a half...im just gettin traction about 35 and i say **** it the race is gonna be over if i wait much longer to flip the switch so i do it about 42 and car just barely breaks loose and i stop his pull immediately and by 55 im starting my pull and its a pretty hard pull bout 70 my nose is at his door handle and about 80 im putting a fender on him....shut it down about 120 and its about 2 car lead..i pull over and he pulls next to me...im like hes gonna be pissed...lol..he pulls up and first thing he says is good run man...i wouldnt admit if i had a bottle either...cuz i wouldnt have ran ya...we turn around and go to get my brother and we pull over and talk for about 30 min and hes a pretty cool guy...tells me his car runs 11.80's on the DR's....he impressed with my setup and told me that he used to have a turbo lt1...was definately a cool guy...we exchanged numbers and we went our seperate directions...my brother still hadnt got to road in the z on the juice so i did a nice lil nitrous burnout and then tried to launch it a couple times on the juice and it pretty nuts...i had tried launching it on the 100 shot but never on the 125 shot...lol...nitrous is so adictive...im thinking about poppin in the 150 jets...lol...i dunno though...

thats a fun fact to know when cobra owners are listing all the stats on their cars..i can always say yea but also did you know that an 03/04 cobra is the car of choice for the gay street racer!!

I dont have times due to the fact that I work too much and live 45 minutes away from the track. One misshap and a tow home is not cheap. Plenty of cars on the street to run.

That's good for 11.0 or 12.0 depending upon the driver. That's just the
way it is with these cars. Sucks that he wrecked it.
