Mods are in my sig. Anyway I was on my way to the Ford vs Chevy shootout in Sacramento(5/7/06), when I see this white 5.0 up ahead. I pull up next to him at around 65-70mph(3rd gear) I wait for him to bite and when he does I go too and He's a car in front then I let off when he was ahead by 2 cars. I pull up next to him again and the same outcome. We pull over and he says he has a 347 stroker. I'm not going to lie because I though I was going to hand him his ***, but the funny thing is.....I DIDN't! Turns out he was going where I was so I followed him there

Nice death and cool you got to talk to him. You never know what you're going to get when you run an old fox body. Plenty of them are downright nasty.

He was walkin be pretty good. He walked me faster than my friends 04 cobra(slp loudmouth, catted x, predator tune) Would I been able to beat him if I HAD LT headers??

nope. Foxbody is extremely light (2800 pounds). That 347 stroker is putting down 400+whp. Now if he's bottle feeding it. Lookout!

Indeed, but those things are pretty stout without juicing. Like I said, if he's juicin', that thing is going to be nasty.

Ummm, what Fox did YOU weigh? My car according to DOT scales is 3540# with me in it (180 at the time) and 11 gallons of gas (+ another 75# or so). I do have a heavy duty tranny and subframes, but I have a fiberglass hood too. Mine is a full interior 88 GT.

347 strokers dont put down 400+. More like mid 370's and sometimes low 390's. They are bad *** yes, and no they dont weigh 2800 pounds...

My old notch had no options and was around 3100 lbs. w/o driver and no weight reduction.

i dont know if its the same guy cuz i dont know the 707 cobra guy but the person im thinking of is david calderon. he has a pretty nice set up 5.0 he posted up here as meltdown awhile ago looking for a race. but im not sure if its the same guy or not.
