Z28 Vs G35 My buddy just got a '05 g35 a few weeks ago. It's 6sp with just K&N drop in. When we raced he had a passenger in his car and I was by myself. I have a '00 z28 with 6sp, K&N drop in, and a catback.
We went on a dead highway and decided to go from a dig.
His passenger went 1-2-3 and we both took off. He said he bogged down a little and I spun all the way through first on my Winston Winners (worst tires in the world). I took a lead right away by about a car or so. He said he shut down around 100 and I was going about 110-120 when I stopped. Knew that he was really far behind, but couldn't tell how many cars it was. After the race his passenger said that I got him by about 10 cars.
Thought it was a cool race since I haven't raced in a few months already and even that was at the track. He gave me props on my car, but sh*tted on my car as well like he always does saying that "at least his car has headrests..."
Next time we'll go from a roll, so neither of us can complain about traction
Before I raced him, he went against '06 330 sedan with 6speed, which is bone stock and had no passenger.
They were dead even until G35 hit 4th and he slowly pulled like half a car on him.
