Good 'Ol LT1's

I was at a car show today where a dude with a '92 LT1 Vette was talking smack how he could kill my buddy in his '01 Stang. The Vette dude was being gay and demanded $100 or no race so nothing happened there. Well his buddy was with him in his '02 Trans Am A4 that he claimed to be a stock factory freak and superior to LT1's. Well my buddies set up a race with him and me and I was a little reluctant at first but we headed out on 309 and raced twice from a roll. Both times I beat him by 1-1.5 car lengths which made me feel real good. It was just a ton of fun having two of my Mustang buddies doing 35mph in a 60 behind us creating a freaken traffic jam practically so we could run without people in the way. I got off the next exit and went to Wawa so I could say good race and chat a bit but sure enough he didnt bother stop, I guess he was pissed that he lost to an little old LT1.

You have about the same mods as me what dose your car do in the 1/4 what kind of 60ft. nice kill, I hear the 02 trans ams are the fastest stock for stock.

I've never taken it to the track. Figure an '02 T/A runs probaly a 13.2-13.4 stock so maybe my guess is maybe a low low 13 for our cars. Did u ever run yours?

My buddy in his Stang ran a 13.5 and I beat him both times when we raced by atleast a car length or so, so if you have the same mods as me then you def you have a high12's/low 13's car.

98 1SC Z28 was known as the fastest LS1. As far as TA's, they are all so close its hard to tell.

I'll make sure that tool shows up next month in his Vette and we race. Funny how he was making fun of my car and and my two buddies cars cause they are automatics and we found out his is an auto too haha. My Stang buddy confronted him about it and the Vette dude was like well mines a Vette and I dont care if a Mustang runs in the 10's there autos suck and all and Vette autos are way different, what a fag.

haha nice kill

we have very close to the same mods, but i dont have tuning yet. Did the tuning make a big difference after the header install?

The car felt as though it had a little more power throughout the powerband in my A4 and I had the shifts firmed so the SOB shifts real hard and perfect everytime. I really dont know since I didn't run it at the track but I'm sure the tune is good for a couple tenths or so.

after headers I ran super rich. then I had it leaned out a bit and gained 15rwhp

Good Races.

Im come to find out the people that bragg the most are usually the ones who don't really know the limitations of thier car, and get upset when they think it can't be beat, so they make excuses and run.

One of my first races was set up againt this Slightly modded 01 WS6, and I got smoked, my car was nearly stock.
We shook hands and it was all cool. I have no problem in losing/winning, but some people need to grow the hell up.

Good Kill Stealth!

Thanks man! I completely agree its the people that run theirs mouths and brag all the time that are the ones that get walked on and dont know shit about their ride. I got off the highway so I could shake hands with the dude but he just turned around and kept trucking.
