good run....636's with pro riders get LOW 10's (10.2 I believe). FInally, a decently modded F-body that looses to a new 600 AS IT SHOULD BE....sooooooooooo tired of people with lid and cat back saying how they run away from 600's and how any new vete or viper should easily take a new 600 on the highway....

The new sport bikes are insanely fast period. Anything that can hang with any newer sport bike with a good rider has a fast car.

good run. I think you got a little lucky thought, that guy was looooooost. Couldnt find the right gear and fumbled around for while.

Plus, after riding and racing motorcycles for 15 years, I can tell you a riders ability is directly proportional to the protective gear they wear...i.e. you lost to a squid, but, a great run and your car sounds phenominal!

No disrespect and I am not trying to start an argument over stupid crap but how do you guys get all this info from his video. His car is so loud you can't even here the bike its dark so you can't see the rider how do you know what gear he is in or if he fumbled around the gears?? His car is very stout and it was a good race! How does a guys gear relate directly to his abilities? I don't know maybe I am confused. Just my .02¢

No biggie, Ill tell you ride now, the guy was new to riding, and wasnt in the right gear. Its hard to explain, but trust me, with the saddle time I have...he looked like he had no clue. That being said, the TA did very well.

Not trying to flame, but Ive got an 06 Vette, and I have run two different CBR 600's, and beat both of them. I ran one of them from about a 70 roll up to about 140, and i pulled very well. The other one I ran from a dig and from a 70-160 roll, and won both times. Now, it is VERY possible these guys arent very good riders and shifted a lot earlier than they could have as Ive never ridden a bike before, but bottom line, They can be beat. I wont mess with anything bigger than a 600, because i know I will lose. I also think the vette has a little better chance due to weight and aerodynamics. My car dyno'd at 370 RWHP at a little over 3200 lbs, and the TAs usually weigh close to 3600 lbs. and he had 380 RWHP... Not to hijack your thread and good run...you hung very well!!

Sounds good, held your own. Bike are dangerous prey, they sometimes bite back. I don't know of too many cars that go bike hunting. Good ****, I stay aroung the way from you, metro baby.

If it was a very old 600, I could see beating it on a kick, but ANY newer sport bike, 600 and up would absolutely rape a nearly stock C6 at any speed under 150...WITH A DECENT RIDER. I have beat a 2004 CBR1000RR on a 40 kick without my nitrous (my car is only high 10's on motor, so I shouldn't have beat him or even hung with him if he was a good rider), and the same day I lost to a modded 600 from a 25 mph roll (I spun real bad, at 50 or above I would have taken him, but I lost at 25...he hooked and I spun a ton). Most people with cars simply beat the riders, not the bikes. If you ever encounter a stock 636, R6 or other fast 600 with a good light rider, its a LOT like racing a 1000 from a dead stop to about 80 or so. Big bikes are nasty up top, but they are all pretty similar down low...you can only put some much power to the ground on a single tire!

I agree completly guys the bike was much faster, but I really wanted to see where I stood before I spray and then we'll race again when I get it. 06C6FVR I will race you anytime, if you really want to compare Also the numbers in my sig are before the tune they should be closer to 400 now, so my car is no slouch either. I should be running my buddy's 95 Suzuki 600 soon so I will also post up thaty video for comparison I think I have a good shot at taking him.

hey now, not all of them are dogs down low... (see sig) although, with exception to the twins, they are pretty dead down low...

I'm at work so couldnt really pay close attention, but that seemed to be the opposite of every video i've ever seen and every very fast car i've ever raced... usually the bike jumps all over the car up until 130 give or take a little, and then things start to equal out... My buddy has a very fast Cobra and i will pull good until about 140 mph, and then from what i can tell, we stay pretty even after that ( i might creep a little)... but then again, i'm riding a torque monster

I have A LOT of riding time in as well, and i dunno about the apparrel vs. ability comment.... in general i'd like to agree, but now-a-days i just dunno -
