...By elevation. i recently moved to denver. i knew the difference in elevation would screw me, but good lord. i used to live in pueblo, which is 4700 or so. when i bought the car i lived at the lowest point in colorado, which is like 3300 ft. up here, needless to say, is around 5280+. now when i floor the car at 3k in first gear, the tires dont even think about breaking loose. the loss of power is insane. i cant beleive i can notice it so much. it might help my 60's with traction though lol. anyway, i found this interesting. you guys probably dont...

Its really funny seeing how pissed 2V GT guys get when they think they will just mop the floor with lesser cars like SRT4s.

Breathing mods are the key for you, and anything that improves air density fights the problem directly. AKA nitrous or FI.

First off, Denver rules.
Second, Colorado owns all.

Third. FI time hehehe.

Theres a reason turbos are so poular in CO along with 03 Cobras etc. Forced induction helps a lot. Your still loosing a lot of power because the efficiency of the blower or turbo is lower since it starts with lower density air. But your not loosing as much as you do NA.

Just a D1SC would cure all your ills and have you running awesome times even at the highest drag strip in the land AFAIK.

I remember living in the Bay Area and driving up to Lake Tahoe would absolutely kill my car. I could totally feel it. As much as I'd like to live someplace pretty like Tahoe, Colorado or Washington, I've got to have my power!
