twin turbo viper VS Z28 So, I was on RT-301 on my way back from Kings Dominion going about 70 and an SRT 10 Viper pulls up next to me. I knew i would lose even if it was stock, just wanted to see how badly. So no cars in sight about 5 miles of straight flat road. We slow to about 60, I drop it into 2nd. We go on 3 honk. That car walked away from me like i was sitting still, it wasn't even a race, it was a slaughter, to many cars to count. He pulled off into a gas station a few miles up and we talked for like 20 mins. I got a closer look at the car, it was the twin turbo package from Heffner Performance. He was also sporting a nice set of MT drag radials. If my memory serves me correct he said around 950rwhp on pump gas. I'm glad my first loss could come from something as amazing as that car.

that's what i do. if they bitch about it i tell em' to go from a dig because roll racing is bullshit. not like it mattered against that thing, it could probably pull a 'busa on the highway.

I guess i probably should have went into 3rd, but it's not like it would have changed the outcome. I just remember getting next to eachother and when i heard those turbos spooling, my jaw just dropped in amazment.

Hell, I've thrown my auto down to 2nd @ 70 mph with 3.73s
Good death tho, I'd love to see one of those rip...I wouldve done the same thing!! haha

i think heffner built that viper that was in the 8s on the irs and 6 speed.....
i think the car runs 7s now with a different trans
but they'd drive it to the track, race, then drive it out for dinner afterwards there was a write up in hot rod or something earlier this year

Next time to hell with the honks just go and see how long it takes for him to catch you. By the sound of it probably would have taken him about .09 of a second to pass you. But still one bad *** car i'll take that death any day.
