Beat a coworkers Civic Some guy at work was always talking up his Civic Si . It had the typical mods: wing, clear tails, and fart can. I figured it was nothing special under the hood but wanted to put the guy in his place anyway. Pulled out on the highway with him right behind me, I jumped over a lane and he trys a flyby when I was at 25 mph. I mat it down and spin for a second, and stop his little pull. I had about 6 cars on him by 80 and I shut it down.
Not much of a kill, but the first run i've had in a while.

I dont understand why people talk up their civics! Especially when they'reunbearably slow. Lets see how much he has to say about his car at work now. Way to shut him down!!

At local track this weekend there were a few fast imports..notable was a neon srt4 running 12.2 at like 113mph, an older civic with turbo running 12.6 with not really any other mods, and a supercharged engine swapped honda desol running 12.5s consistently.All the above needed drag tires to run these times so not sure how much slower they would be on the street.Also were a couple of other civics running low 14s not sure what mods they had. And a 1g dsm running high 12s as well.
Personally most stock or near stock hondas are very slow at 16s,etc. It pretty much takes some big engine swap lots of spray or blowers or turbos to make them quick.But there are some quick ones out there. And our track is 1700 feet above sea level which hurts NA cars pretty bad.Buddy with 420rwhp 99 SS with heads,cam,headers and 4.10 moser on nittos could only manage a 12.17 at 117mph that night with 1.8 something 60fts. That darn neon srt would have been right on his butt!
Still hondas are one of my favorite kills since most of them are really slow and the owners think they are fast a lot of the time. But hey 16s are fast to some guys I guess.

these guys swear stock civics are the fastest cars on earth......i guess popularity adds horsepower
