how badly am I going to get beat..... OK... so a friend of mine just got a 03 cobra. He has intake and exhaust on it, and I'm in a 99 z28 with a lid and a cutout... He just got this cobra on a trade in with his z28 and wants to see the difference so I told him anytime... I'm the type of person that just enjoys the rush of racing win or lose so I really dont care if i get spanked in a race.... I just want to know how badly he will beat me.
any ideas would be great.

If they can drive it will be a reasonable stomping. However from a dig you are probably less likely to make a mistake, so it may "appear" closer. From a roll its all over though.

yeah but if its not me then i will have to laugh cause that would be 3 that i know of for 03-04s and 2 including mine where we traded the z28 for one. either way i would love to race a stock t/a or camaro i have gotten alot and i mean alot better at driving this damn thing since i first got it and from a roll its pretty ugly for a lot of cars.

Oh yeah its not you jester, this guy is a friend of mine.. he drives a 04 silver cobra I was mistaken its an 04 not 03... anyways we raced from dig and a roll at 20... in the dig i got murdered.. I was anxious and spun like crazy and he murdered me.. but from the roll I stuck closer to him until I would say 50-60 maybe a little higher then he started to walk away... still was a great time... two more of my buddies were out there also so... there in the gt's which are in the second vids.... I'll see if I can get a link for them b/c there in a hiden part to another forum...

If you race him from a dig you'd probably hang with him better than you think. You have the launch advantage with that rear axle and if you get a decent launch and he struggles to get traction he'll play catchup for a few seconds. From a roll it's lights out for you.
