Raced a 01 ls1 ws6 transam tonight.
he has removed cats with o2sims, cutout, drag radials, and slp airlid. cant remember if he has k&n or not. he went 8.5 in the 1/8th bofore the cutout and lid. he is expecting 8.1-8.2 with his mods now.
we went from a 20 punch and went at the same time. i spun a lil bit but i held him to only a fender through first and my tranny missed second. then he pulled to about 2 or so till 80, and around 3 - 3.5 at 100. my tranny missed third also.
keep in mind this is on a stock tune. rev limit is 5800, and it shifts at 5700 so if it is a lil off it misses. i havent drivin it enough for it to learn my shifts.
overall i surprised the hell outa EVERYONE. they thought he would rape me.
we raced a couple more times but i spun bad on one and his tranny wouldnt shift on the other as well as both our trannys stuck in second. we had to let out.
had fun and everyone realized just how much potential this truck has in it.
with raised rev limiter and shiftpoints along with a good tune this truck is gonna STROKE.
i think high 7's N/A is gonna be a understatement with some drag radials.
i was shootin for 7's with dragradials, 4.56 gears AND a torque converter. i might get that 7 on just drag radials.

and is he lying? what will a 01 ws6 run with all the mods he has. its an auto also.
his car is a freak, he beats people lots worse then he should.
all i have is a cam and headers/3in true duals. UNTUNED. barely even runs.

i KNOW i will pick up TONS with the tuning.
just please tell me i am runnin mid 8's on a stock tune lol
if he runs 8.1 then i am a 8.4 cause we were DAMN close first and he walked slow in second. if only i could have hit second.

you have an 03 rcsb with a 4.7 right, at best its a 16.8 truck that would put you at a 10.70 in the 1/8 mile, and the 16.8 I ran in a friends of mine with 50* weather at HRP, my times in my sig are stock times with the camaro. Good luck with the mods and the times will drop.

all i know is i ran a dakota with close to the same mods as u and smoked him when i had a gt that trapped 106mph in the 1/4mile (85mph 8th).....so i dont think ur fast enough to run that time without weight reduc and slicks......whats ur trap? that will tell us enough to tell you how quik u really are?

oh, there will be weight reduction, and slicks. no way in hell i can run that without those two mods.
i aint denying that. there will be lots of reduction if i can. i weight 4800 with no one inside and 1/8 tank of fuel. i have lighter wheels now so say 4650 or so.
it will need a tune to take full advantage of the cam.
