Default 98 T/A vs 03 mustang GT

This was my first kill, and i can say i am pretty glad about it. Well i was on my way to drop off my girlfriend at her house. we were coming back from my dads house. I see this mustang gt pull out in front of me and get on it right away. so i decide to play catch up. well i get beside him around 50. I was in second . I hear him down shift. He gets the hit and i pass him right away we shut down at 115 i was about 4-6 cars ahead. we pull over and talk . He just has exhaust. so i tell him thats all i have . well it was a good race and a cool guy.

Summary.
win 98 T/A - mods exhaust
loser- 03 GT- mods exhaust

260hp, 302lb/ft of torque. A set of 4.10s really wakes them up. And yeah, story makes alot more sense knowing that he hadn't had the car for very long. Good kill

Maybe for an average driver... a good driver can run in the 13.8-13.9 range.

Even if he drove the mustang gt to it's maximum capabilities the outcome would've been about the same. I have a '02 GT and after taking a few whoopings from F-Bods I definitely know my cars place in the performance food chain........ at the bottom!!

Id say imports are at the bottom of the performance food chain

Oh yeah, it takes a bolton/geared 99-04 GT 5spd coupe to run with a 98-02 F-body from a dig, and it's still gonna get pulled from a roll, most likely. And KillStories, you're forgetting about a few imports... they're quicker than Mustang GTs too . Or atleast close enough to make it a driver's race.

thats just terrible isn't it! thats why after having 3 H/C/I nitroused foxbody's that killed LS1's I got rid of my 90' coupe(parted it out for financial reason's) I bought a sonic blue 03'GT beautiful color but that car was a TURD!!!!!! so after 2 months I traded it in for my 02' silver WS6 T/A!!!! and this T/A is just flat out awesome! if my 02'WS6 raced the 03'GT on pink's you could give the 03' 10 car length's 3 races in row and the WS6 would skunk him 3 X straight!
