Mach1 vs. my WS6.(Kind of weird)

Mach1 vs. my WS6.(Kind of weird) Well the other night ago when is wasnt raining, my friend called me up and said he was going to race this Mach1, so I jump in the WS6 and take off to see. Well my friend has a 01' Z28 with lid, c/b exhaust, and 4.10's while the Mach1 had a K&N drop in filter, longtube headers, o/r h-pipe, catback, 4.10's also. Well they raced and the Mach won usually by about a 1-1.5 cars. So my friend tells me to race it and I say sure. Well I had took my DR's off recently because of the rain, so I spin the tires just a little bit to clean them up and warm them up because it was cold. Well the race was from a dig, so off the launch the Mach jumped about a fender only and it was ugly for him after that. I just started pulling in each gear and at the end had about 3 cars on him. Well we go again but with all three cars me, mach, and z28 and I put like before 3 cars on the Mach again and 4.5 on the Z28. I dont know if when I bought the motor in my car from my friend, that if it is just a strong running motor or what.

Time to get your car dynoed/track tested. I've seen Mach 1's make 316ish with those mods, so it's definitely plausible for an LS1 to lose without many mods. Sounds like your WS6 really woke up with the cam and headers.

^ I guess, I means its only a LS6 cam, nothing big, cant even hear it really through the exhaust. But now I'm just working on getting the my cars even faster. I have been talking to Robert56@NitrousDirect about putting a 200 shot on the WS6 and getting the motor built(pistons,rods,cams,etc.) in the Cobra and putting a KB 2.8 on there.
