Default 93 z28 vs rb25det s14 240sx

Most of my friends drive turbo 240s. I was hanging with 3 of my friends that are SR20det powered. They went to meet a guy i hadnt seen since highschool. He was running the rb25. All of my friends told me to go after him, and see what happens (ive gotten a reputation for trying to race everything, mostly things faster than me). Well when he turned i went after him with all my friends waiting for me to get slaughtered. I met him at a stoplight, and ask him what was he puttin down 300 wheel. He said 450, or 500. i laughed at him and got up to about 40, (i was waiting to be slaughted badly) He hit it first and i right away started pulling. I got about 2 lengths by 90. He needs to be tuned, and his timing ajusted. I was unimpressed

I agree. Forget about the intimidation factor, just run 'em. Nice work! How are you doing against those DET's?

i beat one of my friends s13 sr20dets by a good distance on any roll. He runs 7 ps1 on full 3 inch exhaust, lightened flywheel. Another guy has an upgraded turbo, i dont remember the size but its big. I smoke him from a dig, but he get me on the interstate. But thats when i was bone stock when i first got the car.

I agree. Forget about the intimidation factor, and run 'em. Nice work! RBs are great motors potentially, but you still have to build and tune, not just rely on the reputation. lol How are you doing vs. those DETs?

Sorry about the repost. Its nice to see you having some friendly fun with the imports. I drive an old Sentra with a DET. Its o.k. from a roll (traps 117) but man is it hard to get moving!

RB cars are nothing to mess around with. Don't know the mods on this one but 450-500 whp is nothing.
