Hey guys, I have a 99 Formula (mods below) which is mostly stock and my roommate recently bought a 2006 GTO M6 which is still stock. We've ran quite a few times from a roll at different speeds and I hang right with him until 80-90...We were out the other day, the roads were clear, and we got caught at a light. I revved to let him know it was time to see what would we could do from a stop. When the green light hit I had a great launch, he didn't spin his tires at all so he had a pretty decent launch as well (he even said it hooked pretty well). I immediately put about 2-3 lengths between us and when we let off at about 100 I had a full car length on him! He keeps refusing to believe that I can beat him in a 1/4, but I think that proves I could take him...Of course anything beyond that and the LS2 shoots the finger and takes the F**k off, gotta love those extra cubes.

I would say you are about .5 tenths or better , quicker than he is.Those Goats are too heavy I.r.s puts them at a big disadvantage.You should be 13.0's 12.90's.

i raced a LS2 GTO at the track when I had my T/A I only had a lid I beat him barely I ran a 12.98 he ran like a 13.2 pr 13.3 I can't really remeber.... good run though you should get him in the 1/4

Sounds like you are a better driver. IF he drove good at the track he should be able to run some high 12's but so could you. Its a drivers race.
