06 M3 vs 99 SS

06 M3 vs 99 SS I'm driving around for a spritual drive 
...then I see a friend of mine that I've been wanting to run for a LONG TIME...I smash right past him to let him know wassup 
..So he lines it up and heads towards the freeway...So we run em about 4 times...the 2 times we ran em I was in 3rd (I know my power band too)..I'm in 3rd and we both hit it...It was dead ever all the way through 3rd because we caught up to traffic...2nd time I was about a full car on him, but then he got blocked in by traffic...the third and fourth race I was about 1.25-1.5 cars on him...he has a manual too...anyway it was a VERY VERY close race...I know that he kept up with me a lot more than my friend with a 02 SMG M3 did....He sure as hell surprised me!! I did get the WIN, but damn I was surprised...Is my car a slouch or somethin??

i beat a SMG one with my brothers, geared/ bolt on 00 GT.
From dead spot i beat him ny 2 cars al the way through 4th gear.
From a roll, he did beat me when i started in 4th, but when we started in 2nd, or 3rd, i beat him, bye at least 1.5 2 cars.
And i murder my bros mustang in any gear, any speed. With my all bolt on LS-1 So make your math.
Maybe 6 speeds are a lot faster than SMG`s??

My buddy has one E46 M3 too. Don´t know what for year or SMG/M6. Can i beat him with my 98 A4 Formula? I have 3.23 and only a 2600 stall and HPP3.
