1998 Camaro SS (JKDZ28) vs 2001 Camaro Z28 (273sunsetZ) *video* Hey guys... (273sunsetZ) and I went out for a couple quick runs tonight.
I'm going to appologize for the low quality videos. We are going to redo them during the daytime so they will be better.
The first race was from a 2nd gear punch...it didn't turn out well so I'm not going to post it.
We decided to go from a dig. 0-135 mph
He is an Auto and I'm a 6speed
Camera car : JKDZ28
We lined up and there was traffic coming up from behind us so we had to hurry.
From a dig, I smoked the tires all the way thru 2nd gear. He did the same, we were both without traction.
At the hit, he pulled about 1 car length on me. While he was spinning and I kept on it even though I was spinning too.
When I hit second gear, I recovered the lost car length and put maybe a half car length on him.
He would pull a little bit then I would regain. It was back and forth all the way to the end. I would pull - then he would pull - again and again.
When I let off at 135ish I was maybe 1/2 a car ahead. He was probably about the middle of my passenger side door.
All in all, those were some very good runs. Both cars ran amazingly and are evenly matched.
My mods are most bolt-ons:
SLP Lid
Ported TB
LS6 Intake Manifold
Pacesetter LTs
TSP ORY
Borla
Ram Powergrip HD
His mods are most boltons also:
SLP Lid
factory LS6 Intake Manifold
Pacesetter LTs
ORY
Loudmouth
Dynotuned
So basically we have the same mods. I have a ported TB and he doesn't. He is dynotuned and I'm not.

Yeah, man we plan on getting a daytime video. Unfortunatly, that was as good as it gets for the moment.
