Default First mustang gt kill!!

So i was on my way to ucr(my school) to pick up my books, while i was on my phone with my girlfriend this lowered black gt come screaming past me, so i immedietley tell my girlfriend my phones breaking up and i hang up. The hunt begins.....he is about 10-15 car lenths ahead of me after a few blocks i get behind him at a light i rev he revs the light turns green and we both take off (take in mind i am behind him) i pass the car next to me and switch lanes so at the end of first gear i am righh next to him and when i shift to second i start walkin on him and by third i had at least 5 car lengths on him when i hit traffic and was forced to shut down at about 80, he does the ricer flyby and flips me off, he was stick 98-04 gt. good times

I know this is mean, but those are some of my mot satisfying kills. Every 99-04 GT I've raced has been a young guy about my age that thought either: they could beat me because I was auto, or because they thought LS1s were too much hype, or just because they wanted to be david and take down that bully Goliath. And killing aforementioned personalities is always a bunch of fun, especially the auto haters.

I actually almost bought one in stead of the Trans Am because, admittedly, I have a special place in my heart for Mustangs-right next to my place for F-bodies. But I knew I couldn't live with a 260hp GT when I could've had a 350hp TA. Maybe that's why I love to beat them? Because I almost was them.

And GT owners please don't give me any **** because I DO love them (if you haven't picked up on that yet.) But most 2v 4.6s, especially those owned by high school kids, are just easy LS1 bait.

At my track the average lt1 is about 3 tenths quicker than the average gt. and I am 7 tenths quicker than the average gt. the funny thing is I out trap the 05 gts by about 5 mph. I dont remember what the mach 1s run but the ls1s run about 7 tenths faster than the 05 gts. I am not impresed by the 05 gts.

You never give the LS1 A4's enough credit, stock vs. stock against the Mach 1 M5's. The 4L60e is no slouch, even in stock form.
