Raced a 99/00ish GT
I don't get many races around my area, besides my buddy with the Roush, so I had to. I've come to realize that I don't have a problem with these cars at all. I have no idea what he had done to his car, if anything, as I couldn't even hear it over my exhaust. He had a couple appearance things and it looked pretty good, I'd say he was around 20 years old.
We went from a light, once it went green we both took off. I just barely bogged but it was an alright launch and I got 1/2 car on him, shifted into second and put another car at least, then into 3rd gear and another one on top of that...then shut it down. Pretty easy lol
I also raced my good friend with his '00 GT that has cold air, plenum, gears, h-pipe(?) back exhaust, and tune....beat him by 1 car in the 1/4 and pulling.
Of course these were not spraying

Around mid-13s, depending on the launch. I'm spraying 1st gear now, so I should be at least mid-12s on the spray. I raced my buddy in the Roush with dr's. He out-launched me by almost 2 cars, but I reeled him in and put another car on him in the quarter (on spray). He's a great driver too. I seem to do better on the street than at the track lol

I was reading this thinking you had an LS1 for minute. I was thinking "WTF? Only by a car??"... LOL. But nice kill! You and the 00' GT were evenly matched for the most part. I would think it would've been closer. But still, nice kill.

I put up some times in this thread when we get back. I'll be spraying in 1st gear this time as well. Only on the last run or two as I don't have a roll bar in my vert lol

What a long night, but it was alright. I only used the nitrous once as they 'talked' to me cuz I don't have a roll bar or anything lol. I ran a 12.7@117 spinning most of first. I didn't start spinning till halfway through, which is a first for me. My buddy ran a 12.9@106 I think, but his best trap was 107. I'm still trying to dial in my launch, I'm only cutting a 2.0 60'
