Raced a 99-04 GT
I have a 2001 6-speed stock WS6 and I just got a full tank of gas 5 miles before this happened.
The other guy (Cool guy, talked to him before the race b/c we had several poorly timed races before, pulled over, agreed on the next race.)
40-??? with him honking it off was what was agreed to.
He honked it off, I waited until I heard the first bit of acceleration from his car and then NAILED it. I let off at the top of 3rd (100ish).
We pulled over and I asked him how he would call it. He said "You definitely pulled on me, 2 cars or so, if we had kept going you would have had me by 4 or 5 (I dont know how fast he meant by "kept going"). I said "I thought it was 3", he said if I counted my rear bumper pulling to his front bumper, then yes, it was 3. (That was what I had meant by 3. He meant 2 cars worth of space was between our bumpers.).
All in all, GOOD RACE! I don't know the year of the GT, I neglected to ask. He did have a fenderwell CAI and a flowmaster cat-back/mufflers? The car was a 5-speed.
+1 to a great race and a good sport!

I'm still torn between getting a GT500, SRT Charger, or C6 Z06 or z51 LS2 when I get home in two years.

Yeah, Justin used to have a POS V6 Mustang. Wasn't it a singleport too? And noride, GT's aren't THAT bad. My bolt-on GT is just a touch slower than a Mach, and I'm soon to be getting longtubes/4.10s/tune, which will put me very close to a stock LS1. I'll be happy with that for a while. But good race to the OP
