this belong in the 2009 Camaro section?
Here's my logic... if the Vette gets 600+ hp... imagine the implications for Camaro!!!!! W O O T! There was a thread about the LS3 in the 2008 Vette RPO codes, so there will be an across-the-board HP increase... All that points to good things for the Camaro...

I know there spy photos and not the finished car but who is going to pay 100K for a supercharged 6.2 in a z06 chassis. I hope there are some more advantages maybe lighter weight stronger internals i guess time will tell

The brakes look very high dollar... like ceramic... that alone will be $$$$$ not just $$$$
In fact, I don't think they could get away with less than ceramic, especially since this one will be gunning for the tweaked 997GT2's on the track.

All for $100K. That is still alot cheaper than every other exotic out there.

If I had about 100-150 to blow on a toy that would be at the top of my list. People are paying up arount the 80K level for Z06s now. That 65K MSRP is a cute little joke that dealerships one and all laugh at. 100K for 100 more HP, probably even stronger midrange, much better brakes (the stockers have cracked in a test I read), better suspension, less weight, etc. Its a steal. Not to mention that fact that the few people who go beyond basic mods will have one helluva start point. Its will probably be on a pretty low boost level stock. I would be surprised if it did not have the Ti rods and forged everything of the Z06 too. The car is a retune, fuel mods, and a pulley away from high 600-low 700 WHP easy.
Most of us simply will never compete with that car using any platform. Even if we do get the power to keep up, the handling will simply stomp most any platform we can conjure up. Seriously, a modded LS7 FD RX7 or full bolt ons Z06 is pretty much the best route to take that car. For 100K MSRP. Incredible.
