02 t/a vs. mach 1 i was going to pick up my dad up from the airport a while back, i was at the light going straight. i see a blue mustang take a right going right in front of me, sounded loud as hell probably full exhaust, l/t and probably lil more. anyways i catch up to him and relized it was a mach 1. i lined up to him to see if he wanted to go and he was game the first race was from a 45mph roll, from second to third was dead locked the whole way then we hit a lil traffic. the second time same result until i hit fourth and pulled half a car.
i couldnt tell what mods he had he just gave me the thumbs up and turned right at the next light...kinda surprised me how close he was im practically stock other than whats in my sig. anybody else have the chance to race one of these...

Good run, Mach 1's are VERY close to stock LS1's performance wise. With your mods I would guess he had full exhaust as you said and maybe gears. I love those cars, and if they weren't still in the 20$'s I would get one.

bc he wouldn't slow down any. Im an A4 so it was a good downshift to drive LOL. but i pulled on him up top i was pretty much stock at the time.

Well my dad has a mach and he has a 125 shot on it. Well me and him have setup a race after i get my cam in and stuff that im gunna race him with me on motor and him on the jug and see what happens. Hoping i hold him off bc the MS4 should pull hard up top.

^yep, 2 completely different cars. The Bullits are cool, but are no more powerful than GT. The Mach 1 makes incredible power and the 4valve responds really well to mods.
