Unhappy smoked by a pullied cobra

we raced 3 times and all three he walked me pretty good. 2 races from a 40 roll and the last one from a 60 roll. I dont know if it is my tune or what but with my mods there is no way he should have come around me like that because I know guys with less mods that have beat cobras before WTF

The thing about 03-04 Cobra's you never know what they got or how much hp they are putting down.. I'm sure that cobra was putting down 500+ rwhp.. Good run non the less

If thats all he had you should of beat him no problem. You should of raced him from a dig. I'm sure you would of killed him.

Am I reading this right, an LS1 lost to a TERMINATOR!!!

Thanks for posting some truth, and in your defense, depending on the size of the pully, and with intake/exhaust and a good tune he could be putting down 500+

nice death

I went 11.29 with a pulley, intake, and catback on Nittos.
Who knows...maybe the guy can drive.

With your setup, you should've gone from a dig.

Sure, it could be. How is your car tuned...timing, A/F @ WOT, etc?

Not without a ported blower, nitrous, or a blower swap.

True, hard to tell a ported blower....he said full exhaust, LT's O/R X?

Really is hard to tell and these cars can hide quite abit.

Lower pully as well?

You should have known that running a cobra from a 40 and 60 roll wasnt going to be every good for you since you are a big stalled auto. You should have at least ran once from a dig.

full exhaust could be LTs as well. You know LTs would help out the Cobras A LOT!

He could also have the really small pulley on there...the 16psi one and the Eatons will put it out...especially in the mid gears. With that and "FULL" exhaust, he could easily be over 500, both HP and TQ.

I agree that Sonic Blue is a sick color... but Competition Orange is still my favorite. But I'm not an attention *****; I just like bright colors

to be quite honest with you as well, people around here seem to run into some shitty cobra drivers all the time, and i ALWAYS make note that its one of the reasons why i bought my cobra, beacuse everyone thinks there overated heavy pigs....whne in the handsof a good driver, there beasts. and to the orginal poster what times have you run in your fbod btw?

LTs don't help out that much. A 2.76", CAI, LTs, O/R X, Catback, and tune would still net <500RWHP on a stock Eaton, and stock Lower Pulley.

Nice runs, and I agree..your car is setup for Dig racing...next time, do that, and the results should be different.
