Default Charger R/T Wanted To Play With the V

I was getting on HWY 101 from Shorline heading North yesterday coming home from work. I do my daily blast through the gears to get onto the freeway. I spotted a clear lane to my left since there was a slow car getting onto the freeway in front of me. As I am shifting into 5th, a Dodge Charger R/T with a black and orage 2 tone paint job comes by me other lane at WOT. I guess he saw me get onto the freeway and wanted to play. He gets into my lane and trys to take off on me. **** THAT. I drop it into 4th and go WOT catching up to him with minimal effort. He wants to play now. He goes from one lane to another. Mind you this is at 2pm with very little traffic. I follow his lead until he ends up in the slow lane having to brake hard for a slower car. I am right behind him. I hear him drop a gear. I think he was waiting for an opening. But it never happened for him. The car on my left blocked him in. I drop it into 3rd. Step over a lane and mash out on him. I looked over at him and he looked all butt hurt. And for some reason, he didn't try to follow me. He was done. End of story.

It's pointless, I don't see no R/T out running that v. Maybe an srt-8 version, now that's a whole difference race.

Sounds like he was a sore loser, hehe.

Stock for stock, the times are nearly identical on the V and the SRT8, would have been a good run.

Nice run. I like those CTS-V. My neighbor has one. Drove it when he first got it. Definitely a nice car that pulls pretty hard. Terrible wheel hop on the launch.....needs to fix that problem.

He has the LS6 model though. Any time difference between the LS6 and LS2 CTS-V?

I also have the LS6. There is very little difference between the LS6 and LS2 in the CTS-V. Or that's what I have been told.

Doesnt the thread title state that it is a Charger R/T and not an SRT8?

I am not sure but I think the LS6 is a little quicker then the LS2?? anyone know?

those RT's are a waist of time, my 05' GP GXP used to take them out a the track running high 13's, they would always be in the low 14's (stock)..
