'02 Bolt on WS6 beat '06 Bolt on GT w/ 100 shot
Was enjoying my Chicken Express on my lunch break, when a black '06 GT comes by and damn near hits the rev limiter in order to get my attention. I follow him to a parking lot and proceed to talk about our car. His was a full bolt on GT, and mine's a full bolt on WS6. When we got to where were racing, he says he has to "tune" his car, so he sits there for a few minutes, then goes to his trunk. This is when my buddy Matt ('02SOMZ28) tells me that he has a 100 shot, and that he had lost to him the night before. The guy only races from a dig, so the first race I spun mostly through second gear, from which he proceeded to beat me. Second race I tried to pursuade him to go from a roll, but he declined because he "couldn't shoot past 2500 (NOS wise)", so we go from a dig again. This time I hooked and by second gear, I was a fender in front. A pretty good win for me, but this guy confuses me, he only runs one shot, and it's at the start. That's when torque comes into play and it's a 100 hp shot not a 100 torque shot. Won't that grenade his motor? Anyways, I won morale of the story.

100 shot on a new gt is fine and shouldnt blow the motor.
You cant spray nitrous at low rpms because it will puddle in the intake (wet kits).
Even from a roll as long asy our above the desired rpm nitrous will work so I got no clue what this guy is talking about.

well that shows that i don't know jack about NOS, and never plan to. anywho forgot to add that i won by about a car. but none the less, it did confuse me that he was spraying at such a low rpm in 1st gear. i figured he'd maybe use it at about 2500 in second, but like i said i don't know jack about NOS and never plan to.

Thats a 05 with exhaust and CAI with a 150shot. Doesnt sound like the guy exactly knew what was going on with his car. No excuses though.
