Killed by a CTS-V
Well it was a beautiful day so my friends and I decided to take a trip to the beach. On our way back we came up on a black CTS-V. I had 3 passengers and the top down and he had 2 passengers. We went twice from 65-110ish and both times he'd jump out a half car, i'd pull that back when he shifted, then he'd proceeded to put a car on me. Both cars stock. Two good races. So how much of a difference does it make having the top down going from 65-110? I would be interested to find out how i'd do with less passengers and the top up.

let me try to understand this for a second.... both cars are stock? I thought a CTS-V would beat a stock LS1 Fbody from any speed, not to mention a vert with an extra passenger.. pretty impressive given the power v weight you were up against, I would've thought the V would've pulled you harder? I thought the only trouble the V had was launching?

Toms River? I was coming home from seaside when I raced the V (parkway north). As to V's always beating F-bodies, maybe he needed a driver mod and didn't hit his shifts well
