Default My WS6 vs. Gixxer 600

So i'm bored here in Naples and decide to head over to BestBuy on Airport Rd. (3 lane wide local highway) to waddle around and check out the new toys, when I can't help but notice a silver/black GSX-R making his way through a little traffic just behind me. As luck would have it, somewhere before Pine Ridge Rd. I end up at a light with the Gixxer who asks me if I know a buddy of his over at a local BMW dealer (turns out I do infact know him since my dealership shares the shop with BMW, small world ).

Anyways, leaving the light I guess we kinda both figured we'd have a friendly little go at it, so somewhere around 30-ish in 2nd I go ahead and lean into it while I hear the bike wind-up next to me and we're off! To my supprise he leaps up say a car ahead.. but stays there through 3rd and a bit of 4th. I'm fairly supprised and pleased by the outcome, but look at this.. we're together at another light lol! Well, after a quick little chat it's back up to 30-ish in 2nd and again I roll into as does he ..but this time I guess he decided not to fool around with me and proceeds to leap a good 2-3 cars + in a heatbeat.

Damn.. so much for that good feelin' I had just a moment before! Oh well, if you lose at least lose to a friendly adversary.

<-- really needs to install the bottle!

Cliffs: WS6 vs. Gixxer, one race give me hope ..the very next destroys it.

I do that to people on my bike, go part throttle to give them some false hope that they might be close to beating a bike.

Thats pretty mean , I used to do that as well but I see videos of people doing that and cagers think they are keeping up. So my rule of thumb is, go all out or don't go at all.

Nice friendly race, how much power you putting out with your setup?

Well that's 50 more whp and 100+ more wtq, plus the higher rol would help some but in my case he just walked lol!

Either way, win or lose, it's always fun to race a bike!
