Default GT Mustang in OC

I had just picked up some swishers and was driving down La Palma (in Buena Park) when I seen what I thought was a GT coming up to the light. So I stopped at the Yellow and waited for him. I took off easy and so did he, at around 20mph he punched it. He go two lenghts ahead of me because of my hesitation, at 60 or so I caught up and began to walk him. I let off at 90 about two and a half lenghts ahead. This race was too close IMO, I smoked a GT badly before but this time I had alot of extra weight 100lb sub box and 250lb friend.

Lid, Cutout, and some Goodyear F1's. To this day I never lost to any GT mustang, I even beat a Mach 1 from a roll.

Well you can't count on that everytime... sounds like this guy was in a stock car, and he just knew what he was doing. '05+ GT is a driver's race with an LS1 F-body, with the edge going to the LS1, especially on topend.

A good/great driver in a 05+ GT manual can keep up with a bone stock A4 w/2.73's in a stoplight race anything above 80 I think the LS1 will walk the GT.

You're basically stock, he got the hit, and you still passed him without having to go too fast. I'm like 90% sure that it was a stock car with a good driver.

Nice addition to this thread, excellent really....

To the OP good kill +1 i see you handled it well. Yeah I think pretty much everyone will agree (or should) that the GT's are not too impressive but in recent years they are starting to make good power and have excellent styling for a inexpensive muscle car. They are a drivers race for a stock A4 2.73 LS1.

you guys kill me by saying stupid **** like that.grow up.
i had an ls1 ws6 do a so called ricer fly by on my mustang .we were in a 35 zone trafficy as hell and this fool in a black ws6 flys by us doin probably 100+ or better.scares my wife who was driving to death.then he taps his brakes 3 or 4 timesand slows down.if that wasnt enough he takes off again and enters a curve way to fast and about lost it.
my point is to you any car owner can do a ricer fly by.

Now thats just bullshit, I make it a point of telling people off for stuff like that. Having fun is one thing, endangering other people is another altogether.
