Default '98 Z28 -v- '99 Cobra

INTRO
I pretty much owned another Mustang lastnight. Im not a big Mustang fan what-so-ever but Ive seen this paticular car around town numerous times and kinda actually liked it. It is good looking and well taken care of, I was curious to see what it could do.
SETUP
I was on my way to my girls house lastnight at about 10:30. I was driving about 40-45 in a 35 and was coming up on a slower moving Mustang (aprox. 35 mph) I wasnt even trying to "chase" however he must not have liked me going past him. He kinda downshifted or whatever and caught-up/pulled ahead. I still wasnt in the gas but I did see the red light ahead.
THE RACE
We were coming up on it when it turned green. I didnt know if he was gonna punch it when it turned or when we went under it so I waited to see. He ended up dropping the hammer under the light (35mph?) and quickly started pulling me. By the time I was in the gas my front tire was pretty much even with his back tire. I started gaining quickly and nosed past him by the time we were at 85-90. I would just kept walking him but I was already doing 90 in a 35 in a fairly fuzz heavy area of town. But anyway it was fun and it made me happy cause now when he sees me around town he'll know what these LS1's are all about.

Yea I know, I wasnt really expecting it to be too fast. The guy really wanted to race so I figured Id try and smoke'em. Im just glad I won. Its not like Im picking on crappy 'Tangs tho. This Cobra is actually very nice. It def at least has exhaust upgrades, its loud, sounded very strong actually. Nice wheels also, the guy def takes care of it.
