Raced a brand new Lambo (30 day tag)
I was on the way to work yesterday and pulled onto the 4 lane that goes on for about 4 miles in a private development (rich neighborhood). I noticed a beautiful Lambo, don't know what kind just know it was very sleek and sounded awesome. Well I rolled up beside the car to see this 20 y/o kid driving with his father in the passenger seat. Pops looks over at me and smirks then says something to the kid and points to my car. Next thing I heard was a sweet varoom and a downshift so I quickly drop it in 2nd doing around 50mph. Kid kicks it and I follow. I walked past him and put two cars on him by 85mph. The look on the Dads face was priceless when he pulled back beside me lol. He then pulled up two cars in front of me and downshifted and I left it alone. Best sounding car I think I've ever heard. Wish I had another run with him on the highway or a better road.

hahaha I don't think it would have mattered if the old man was driving or not. it's either E-gear (robotized manual i think) or just a regular ol' manual. It's probably an E-gear (looks better for the resale, and better ego rights to say you own a manual but your so advanced that a computer does it for you hahaha).
Probably a gallardo, little brother to the murciealgo from the sound of it and performance, but both are piggly wigglies, and both make some sweet sweet acoustical symphonies.
Sweet kill!!

You should hear my car. I love the Lambo's exhaust note too, but I am a bit partial to a Corvette with LG Pro longtube headers (no cats) and BBExhaust (no mufflers) setup. I have heard other Corvettes with the same hookup and it sends a shiver up my spine. I had the lucky oppurtunity to run another vette with the same exhaust as me and when we hit it from a low roll I thought the earth was going to open up and swallow us whole. He had a good h/c setup too, but I pulled 2 cars on him. He claimed 455 rwhp to my 490 rwhp. Good race, fun too.

thats strange b/c i saw a 496 hp cobra get destroyed by a stock lambo gallardo with just an exhaust.. if u raced a gallardo they are rated at 500 hp and do about 12.2-12.4 1/4 mile. If u raced a murcielago they are rated at 580 hp and do about 11.6-11.9 ish. do u have any track times? anyway nice kill i wanna race a lambo lol

there goes that $15,000 clutch job. even if i can afford it i wouldn't buy one. that guy on Bullrun was whimpering like a baby due to the damage done to his car. he's probably going to dump the bodywork on his insurance carrier too so it's not going to be the $60k that he claims. maybe $15k and some change for the clutch. pretty stupid to buy a car like that and afraid to dragrace it hard due to $15k for a clutch.
big difference between someone who's super rich buying one cash and someone who's financing or spent most of what they have on one and having to worry about it 24/7.

Hey Nate, if you do a search there is a dyno run vid of my car on the rollers at Walsh Motorports. Sounds almost like it does now, but last years setup was a bit tamer then what I got now. Now its simply wicked.
I haven't been able to get to my friends house to post my latest dyno pull before I left LG Motorsports. Stay tuned. Hopefully they will post it on their website.
