yea i have it on and tr6's ""colder"" plugs in. i have to get my bottle filled and hook up my window switch and purge and I'll be trying it out! To me asking for lengths etc is the same as saying the other guy is faster. That being the case, why bother to race if the outcome is known? And if someone wins because of something like that, wheres the accomplishment?
There is IMHO one kind of straitline race worth a damn. No effing lengths. No effing pansy arsed 'dont use the juice' crap. Heads up. 1320FT. Drag race. Run what you have as fast as you can.
That's what you should do, and with the shot you should have a great race and likely beat him. And tell him that a DSMer said so. Negotiation of lengths and what power adder and such is for insecure loosers. Its just pathetic. If he is afriad to race you heads up from a dig then you basicly win automatically IMHO.

ok nitrous all the way done. All it wants to do off the line is spin!! I'm gonna have to work on that before the big race. I haven't hooked my window switch up yet. i'm gonna set it around 3800 and see if it will hook then.

I have respect for cars for being fast. I dont care if it's a 4 banger, V-12, or W-16. The EVO deserves lots of respect because it is very versatile. It will destroy Exotics on road courses. You should look at the Suncost EVO it has destroyed track records.
Also the AMS EVO has 1013 AWHP and runs a 8.56 1/4 mile @ 168.6 MPH!!

Granted that car had every modded known to man on it and the only thing stock about the car was the turbo. But a bigger turbo on that car and I have no doubts it's a 9 second car.

My friend and I got waxed by an EVO 9 last night. He has a foxbody, 331 stroker, 5 speed and a 150 shot. We went from a dig twice and once from a 40 roll.
First race.
We line up, he's driving the fox, i'm in the passenger seat (he had a passenger too) andwe launch, he pulls on us, about 3 lengths. We spray, tires brake loose, we upshift, and the evo keeps pulling on us, got us by 2 lengths.
Second race.
I'm driving the fox, I launch cleanly, the evo starts pulling on us, I upshift, and spray, upshift again, and he just keeps pulling on us! Got me by three.
Roll.
We pulled 2 lengths ahead, then he rocketed right past us, and that was the last he saw of him. He siad before hand all he had was a shutterbox, intake, exhaust, and un upgraded intercooler.
