I got my *** kicked by a evo WTF!!!!! 
I gave him the break and he had me sitting they for 15seconds stalled up waiting. Thats what really pisses me off. He ended up beating me by 3 cars he got 2 of those off the line, But i never started catching him. My car is no turd, this is my first loss how much boost do u guys think he was running high 20's? My car gos 7.30 or 7.40's in da 1/8'' I GOT BEAT BY A 4 BANGER 
I haven't been to the track thats just a quess, I did run 8.07 before the ms4 cam and I beat a ta running high 7.40's

I don't think stock EVO's are nothing to shout about but a well modded one will run deep into the 11's and 10s...considering what your 1/8th is around you ran a really stout EVO...

Exactly...dont forget..you wont hook as well on the street as you do at the track..unles you have AWD....that may not have helped this guy much..lol

More mods. About a year ago I had a run in with 4-5 S-R-T's and a 400WHP Yellow Evo. The evo ONLY wanted to run from a dig since we had played around on rolls and it didnt offer anything. I did pull him 3-4 cars by 3rd, though he drilled me off the line. Then they didnt even stop to hang out, they just Tokyo Drifted all the way home I guess. They are bad little cars.

Damn. I'm very surprised with the outcome. You have a fast *** car with a huge cam, stall, DR's, weight reducting, and a bunch of suspension and still lost... very upsetting... he must've been packing some serious power in that evo. Probably upgraded turbo with plenty of boost.

Hell yea my wallet was suprised also, lol my wife wasn't too thrilled when I told her I lost 500$. He is getting juiced in a couple of weeks a 150 wet should do the trick!!! He also raced my buddy last night in a 01 ws6 with stall gear heads/ cam and beat him by 4. Were gonna put a stop to this ****!!! My buddy is putting a 125 shot on as we speak for a rematch tonight.

Yea he did heat me up pretty good. I don't know I still think on a flaged race with my car cold he would have me by a car as much as I hate to say that. I've beat pullied cobras, h/c ls1s, nitrous ls1s, and plenty of others, and I lose to a 4cylinder that hurts lol

staged and your competitor leaves you on the limiter...all spooled
or stalled up...for a long time. That generates a tremendous amount
of heat and it kills power big time. That's why I say, run him again.

I'm going to but with the bottle just incase, he could turn the boost up even more and I would never know until I lose my money again. It did kill my lauch and power though your right. He had that **** planned, after the race he tried to shake my hand and say good race....... I told him it would've been if he didn't have me staged for 15 seconds. Then he said he thought I was a 6spd hahah yea right it was planned, it won't happen again though no more brakes they can go off a flag or be called pu**ies.

A 6.90 1/8th is usally a 10.90 1/4 mile.

An Evo can move, expecially in a short distance like a 1/8..they hook and go

Maybe it was planned, maybe it was not. But dont sink to this. This is exactly the crap that people bitch about from ricers. And I/most folks here cant stand rice from any kind of car/driver. If he did do that crap on purpose, then be the bigger man. Beating him anyway later is a lot more satisfying. A shot should take care of that nicely. Upping the boost is fine, but most Evos wont get another 100+ WHP accross the board from that alone despite what people say.
