Gold/Orange modified 6.0 GTO vs. my 5.7 Firehawk
I'm leaving Walmart at about ~3ish am conversing with my Woman when I see this LOUD, really nice Goat pull out of the parking lot.
Sweet dual-dual exhaust set-up coming out the back . . . Cam, Kooks 1 7/8" headers (found that out later ) . . . nice rims . . . and in MINT condition
He leaves and we proceed to the car.
I take off the T-tops (almost never have them on ) and leave the parking lot.
I come up to the red light and, at first, didn't even realize I was sitting next to this Goat (he appears to be riding solo )
I don't risk street-racing unless it's against an over-the-top exotic since I've had numerous "problems" with "moving violations" in the past
1/8 mile down the road he drops a couple of gears and hammers it; I ignore him since the particular road in question is NOTORIOUS for sitting patrols
I proceed to head home and he just happens to be going the same direction . . . DIFFERENT ROAD NOW
I'm in 2nd at ~4K rpm's and he's ~3 cars in front of me in the next lane -
I goose the throttle before going wide-open so that he can down shift and get the hit before me; along with the multi-car lead (which I happen to think was awfully nice of me if I do say so myself )
I make up the stagger in 2nd gear and short-shift 500 rpm's to 3rd . . . I then proceeded to put multiple cars on him through 3rd and some of 4th where I lift.
I decelerate until he gets up beside me and he yells "THAT'S FU(K!NG FAST!!!"
I said: Thanks! Your car sounds nice Bro!
Just finished texting back and forth with a friend of mine who has a H/C black '04 Goat and he told me the guys screen-name was brazenorange06' on the GTO forums
I was told he has a 232/234, .600, 112 LSA custom cam, the Kooks as well as various other bolt-ons. I was on motor with the bottle closed.
Fun run if you read this!!!

Good kill on the Modded Goat !! I whooped *** on a firehawk last night. I really like the way those cars look. FireHawk's and GTO's
How big of a shot are you running ???
I looked at your setup and your motor alone should've been plenty to beat an exhaust few bolt on GTO.
I went back ane reread your sig, how many Rpms do you spin that motor of yours with the ARP rod bolts ?? Stock Crank ?? RWHP/RWTQ motor and spray numbers please.

As stated in the thread, the run was on motor. The way I left this Goat, he could have had another ~100 rwhp and I would still pull him heads up if I went to my shift point (from a 3 car deficit to a . . . well lot of cars lead )
I don't even have the nitrous hooked up right now because I'm procrastinating hooking up my progressive controller
My rev limiter is set to 7500 rpm's.
My bottom end is stock with 60K miles except for the rod bolts.
I would never post my numbers since I would get flamed from here to Chicago; but I have pulled Rentech AMG cars on the highway on motor.
And for the other guy . . . I like the smileys
